Leaders Q and A Topic

Also, to whomever gets a chance to unarchive, could you please leave it for a couple of hours? I’ll be able to do it at some point this evening, but I’m coming in and out of the forum every few minutes

@Leaders saw this project on hopscotch and checked tl_0, seems this user wasn’t accepted? Probably because of being similar to Awesome_E’s username

I can’t see pending applications, but it can also be because this project was posted 12 hours ago. If they joined 12 hours ago, it might be that someone haven’t had the time to approve it!

But thank you for mentioning this in case the account was rejected because we thought it was someone else.

I’m not sure if you get a notification or indication when you join and get your account reviewed but rejected.

No problem. I see what you mean, that is a possibility. But on the offchance it isn’t, I’m glad I could bring it up :))
I think I joined before that policy was put in place, as I don’t remember having to go through an approval process either.

That’s correct, an approval process for accounts has not always been in place on the forum. It was added to keep the community even safer. Thanks a lot for bringing it up!

Hi there! I just wanted to clarify since you and a few others were wondering what this was. This notification type is called an “Invite”. I can’t answer why you were sent an invite. For that, you would have to ask the person who sent it to you, but it can be used to invite people to participate in or read a certain topic. If you’d like to invite someone to a topic (remember not to overuse it though), you can scroll to the very bottom of a topic, tap “Share”, and then “Invite”.

It worked but I already knew how to do it

Any news on this?

If Fearless is poking anyone in a topic, that means they’re trying to communicate something with you. If it’s a topic like the community guidelines or when to bump a topic, their intent should be fairly straightforward.

Hopefully, that all helps someone. I’ve spent the last few days trying to decipher indirect messages as well so feel free to ask me if you need help.

Can you just do it with me, Yuanyuan, you, Ana, TheCMStudios and Serenity? I just need help planning Coding Courtesy and I would like you to make a group when Coding Courtesy reaches 10 members
