I understand why all of the chri stian words are banned mostly except for go d because this could be used in so many other ways, which most of the time have nothing to do with chri stianity or any other religion. Itâs used in games a lot but you canât talk about it on the forum.
Also why is re al name banned? Imo it doesnât really do much because itâs easy to work around and you can share your first name on here (but I understand when it comes to last names of course)

It because its just one way to help prevent little kids from sharing their location of school, home, etc
The forum has a younger audience who are very vulnerable to these kinds of things
It helps prevent people from giving away personal info

Yes, you can get around the word filter, but itâs nothing we can fix really since it would mean banning so many different ways to write the banned word, and itâs impossible to figure out all of them.
Though you can get around it, and we know it, if you get a popup saying âHey! This is a banned wordâ and you actually used that word for why it is banned - if someone would share their real name as in your fulll name, it would make you realize âOh hey, I probably shouldnât do that!â. Real name could mean first name too, but better safe than sorry here. Note that full name is also a banned word.
Weâll discuss filtered words internally and if we need to change some things. Thanks for the feedback on it!

Is this for a Hopscotch knowledge base? Iâm not that familiar with Gitbook, but I know that some Hopscotch sites have been shared here from GitHub pages.
If it is a static site with no option for comments / communication outside forum & it is Hopscotch-related, it should be fine.
