@Dragongirl1264@Mathematics2 just clarifying that you can indeed talk about all things HSF related in the yctayhch – it’s perfectly on topic and we’ll make sure to clarify that somewhere in the op soon :))
No, as long as you aren’t involved in the discussion and share personal information or break the guidelines yourself. A good practice as a community member is to never contribute to a discussion that is breaking the guidelines, but instead flag the post to report it to the leaders.
I wasn’t quite sure where to ask this, but I have an old Hopscotch account (circa 2018) that I can no longer access. When I made this account, I made it in that weird bubble of time where you didn’t need a password. Because of this, I have no way of logging in or publishing new projects. Is there any way for me to log in or will this ghost account exist f o r e v e r /hj
there may be - THT (the hopscotch team) would be the only ones to know!
you can email them here → support@gethopscotch.com
hope you can recover it in some way!
i think it is possible, yeah. emailing them there or yuanyuan directly (i think she fixed it last time this came up) at yuanyuan@gethopscotch.com would be the best bet
because there’s been a bit of confusion lately, we decided to look over the yctayhch and make a few changes. it now goes by a new name (“you can talk about hopscotch here”) and has a revamped op. however, the purpose and usage of the topic is still the same, and this is further clarified in the new op
nope lol, i wrote it. i just stole his formatting because i can
also like he has the right idea with the emojis – they work so well in headers
and for reference if it helps, the welcome team are really only involved in all things new-user related and some community-centric engagement initiatives like camp courtesy
when it comes to big/official charges, that’s handled only by us (leaders) and they find out at the same time as the rest of you
