I feel like a lot of people see the forum as strict (not saying it isn’t or is) and I think having real-time chat could loosen up the forum a bit and make it a bit more chill than it currently is.
With how we currently communicate on the forum conversations take days and this would be a fun way to change it up

this is considered as general topic and unless leaders now has different opinion on it, if i was you id be cautious and patiently wait for a leader reply
but if youd like a unofficial answer even though my answer is always pretty much the same as what leads will reply punch me virtually if im wrong that topic is unfortunately not yet allowed and it needs to be slightly bit more focused rather than being a super general topic where you can post anything youd like:( im sorry, however its a great topic idea! can be very promising with some slight reworks;)

Epic new forum update! I’m still using the hopscotch winter theme
I think if you tie it into Hopscotch (e.g. make a project featuring all the jokes), it would be on topic for the forum.
But otherwise, sorry we probably can’t have a random joke topic, as it would be off-topic for the Hopscotch forum. Maybe it would be worth renaming the category to make it clearer — we will keep this in mind.

When I visited the forum today, suddenly there were 42 unread topics, although I read every new topic.
I didn’t want to see a blue icon next to 42 topics, so I’ve red them all.
(With the defer button)
But when I was at the 20, it suddenly went up to 60 unread topics!
So I red all those posts…
And then again, when I was around the 20, the website suddenly restarted, and there were 262 unread topics!
How does this happen?
I really don’t want to see a blue icon next to almost every topic I see…

i put all categories in “watching first post”, which means you will be notified when a new topic appears, and youre free to decide whether you want to watch that topic or not. you can change that settings here:
