I posted a picture of an error message to @/Awesome_E and he was ok
PI involves posing pictures of building, houses, rooms, etc
Your not allowed to post a picture of yourself but their is nothing about a picture of a
- carpet
- white wall
- or a desk
as those fall under the general sections
those are unidentifiable since a carpet could take place anywhere

the rules state as long as its not a picture of
its allowed
and a photo of a 3ds against carpet shouldn’t count as your house

oh, i think i get it. im assuming that pictures of artwork in the dht doesnt count since i and many others post that.

sometimes we’ll make exceptions for things that need that (like error messages) but for unnecessary things we havent requested like that, no you cannot post pics youve taken

i can bring it up but the answer is probably gonna be a no still –
the issue with exceptions is that not everyone knows theyre exceptions and people (especially young kids like the forum’s audience) can make mistakes. normally thatd be fine but never within a safety context. its why we dont allow any face pictures besides suuuuper wellknown celebs; we cannot afford to have anyone make a mistake like posting their own face.
it might be okay with everything neatly cropped and such but what happens when someone --especially say a 7/8/9 year old-- forgets to do that? what if there’s something revealed?
thats not a gamble we can or will take unless necessary; and the same blanket principle applies to all pi/cof/safety guidelines

wait can people just close up shops like that? I have roadcoins still (many other people do also) so you should make it so no one can buy roadcoins and tell everyone they have 2 weeks to use them. It’s not right to just let people earn and buy coins if you close it down.

you cant buy them if the shop is closed and while it world be extra great to have that time buffer before closing, the reason the shop’s getting closed is because he cant offer those commissions anymore

Yes, but what if you already had them? In this case I entered a competition for them but what if someone bought them and now the shop is closed so they can’t use them

that’s something you’d have to work out with the owner – we have no part in any transactions that happen in shops
