How do I make a TAG LIST
You can set up a poll to see who wants to join your tag list, and once you reach 10 people, post a link to that poll and provide details such as the name, description, and picture of your tag list on this topic:
You can create a poll as its own topic or under the topic I just linked.
I already did that, but thanks for the help anyways
I am gonna have to remake the poll in another topic oofie
If you want to, I can move the poll, but I think that the results will be reset anyways.
Ok would you please move the poll to the tag list topic
@Serenity the posts you moved isn’t allowed, right?
@Leaders people seem to like the idea of an annual hopscotch drawing comp. But they said they’d like prizes as well but with free entry. Is THT able to give seeds and hopbytes for the winners?
I don’t believe the hopscotch team can give out these, but we’re not the ones to ask (you can reach out to them through emailing or tagging) - but we leaders can help with badges!
prizes don’t have to be seeds, or even anything at all - but if you’d like to, there’s plenty of free options (project or art requests, spamlikes, follows, shoutouts - there’s plenty of awesome and inventive prizes to create!)
Oh okay, I feel like badges and shoutouts will work. Could you pls help with handing out the badges to the top 3 and participants?
sure :)) just tag me (or another mod) with the end results!
Thanks! I’m gonna create a new topic announcing the comp soon…
@JonnyGamer I believe you can use this topic to ask a Leader to close topics
Oh. Yeah. That makes sense.
Unfortunately I do not have any close requests at the moment
(actually I’ve never understood why it’s necessary to close all the old topics maybe maybe I missed the memo?)
It’s not necessary to close all old topics, actually. Many old topics can be open-ended and often offer a place to talk about something that is specifically related to Hopscotch, most notably the JSON editing topic and the Webplayer topic.
However, most older discussion are closed due to them no longer being active threads. This often includes old games where the user already published or scrapped the game, and it’s done to reduce confusion by making it so that new per users who aren’t familiar with the post time stamps only reply where it is relevant.
Oh ok! That makes a lot of sense!
Thank you for clearing that up for me
Oh I see this feature is used on all discourse platforms (even Mr. Jeff Atwood uses it this way~ when a problem is solved). I, I, I never connected the dots.
@FearlessPhoenix topic you poked me to is already archived and I can’t deprecate it.
It looks like I can’t undelete that post (whoops) but if you want I can unarchive and re-archive it.
wacky, it wasn’t showing up as archived for me. you could try that tho
Yeah it’s cause I accidentally deleted the post. I’ll do that then
