I never said any of the involved parties were eligible for a warning, I just informed you what would happen if you would get a warning and how you would know it.

More info on warnings and whatnot, if need be will be given via pms, after all of the leads have talked about exactly what happened and what should happen next.
Nothings happening right now except Will getting the situation under control and keeping everyone calm. Jumping to conclusions won’t help anyone; it’ll just exacerbate the situation even more and that’s not productive for anyone.
Let’s all go take a break, go do something irl, cool off, and give him a chance to do his job

General off-topicness and some users were upset. That’s the only thing I can disclose, since I want us to move on from the issue and because it should be kept private until we’ve addressed what happened!

It was closed due to a situation. That’s it; nothing mor, nothing less. Said situation is being dealt with and it’s not productive or helpful for everyone to keep dragging it along.
Situation happened, topics got closed to contain it, situation being dealt with. Really all there is to it and it’s best to leave it at that; regardless of whatever the situation may be
Will will have a post up addressing specifics when he’s able, and the topic will reopen when he thinks it’s safe to again. That’s really all that’ll happen publicly and that’s what it should be left at. Everything else will be handled internally by the leads and isn’t stuff for any of us to worry about

Just gonna echo this for the future:
There’s no need to make duplicate topics or try to rush the reopening, nor is there any need to keep talking about the situation.
If you see some sort of duplicate created, just don’t respond there. Responding creates a discussion and that’s just providing needless validation to a topic that shouldn’t exist. You’re using it (rather, misusing it as the case may be) as a space to discuss a situation, which is exactly what got the other topic closed. This doesn’t help anyone and it’s best to just not.
Let one person provide a reply and explain to the creator why it’s not needed, lounge the topic, and wait for a lead. That’s really all that should be happening with those, if they end up being created (which they shouldn’t in the first place).
And don’t keep talking about the situation anywhere else. There is no need to bring it up again. It happened even tho it shouldntve, it was dealt with. It’s done, no use dwelling kn it. Let the past rest in peace. Whatever lingers will be dealt with as needed, but that’s nothing anyone needs to worry about
