just a little more post reading: 11206 / 11904
Am i able to post a link to a google form if you want to see where i did it https://forum.gethopscotch.com/t/official-non-hopscotch-open-source-code-help-and-general-discussion/51361/1011 after doing it im thinking i probably should have asked first @Leaders
we don’t allow google forms due to PI leaks and COF
Yes I’m so close
is it you who edited the disclaimer in the OP? If yes, shouldn’t it be in normal size? just wondering bc i heard that somewhere
yes, it should be.
kk perfect
(oops i think i deleted the post)
(yes i did)
does plants need the disclaimer?
let me double check on that for you :)
(hmm how is my post still there, i accidentally deleted it loll)
(or it’s a dream)
(i recovered it for you)
also yes, the plants would need the disclaimer
@/FearlessPhoenix did you check if the polls were allowed yet?
yeah, sorry forgot to get back to you earlier
unfortunately we can’t allow them :(( instead, you could just keep all polls to the forum and then link the posts or something if you wanted to
Ok. Thanks
I think I brought this up already a couple of times, but not with #collaborations-and-beta-testing. I’ll bring up the discussion again since the same issue has bugged me since before I became a lead.
Hi there! Welcome back! Sorry for a somewhat late reply, I’ve been quite busy the last day
I’ve been a leader on the forum since March 2019 (the original announcement is here)
iirc, you can start either of the user tutorials, it’ll open a pm between you and discobot and then you can use that for dico to messages from then on
Tho i havent used discobot in a while so i could be incorrect
If I were to make a super cool epic in depth tutorial thing would I be allowed to include a lot of images? Because I’m very visual when trying to explain things but I could also possibly use drafts? Or no images? Idk I could possibly work around it
I would also like to add that I think the edit time is way too narrow. I think that the restriction on editing to just 5 minutes, because a minor few have misused editing in the past (from what I understand), is too punishing and unfair on the general userbase.
Forum users should feel comfortable to update their posts with new information and make corrections, but at the moment they have to make a request to leaders to edit, which can feel like a hassle.
