Is touching as a conditional

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

Being able to use When is touching (and when is not) as a conditional

I’d use it for this type of project:

When Variable = 7
Check once if object A is touching object B

Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:

It would allow users to not have to constantly have their projects checking for collisions therefore decreasing lag

Here is an example design I’ve made:

Umm
I haven’t

I’ve seen something similar in another programming languages, it looks like this:

I think it’s in scratch but idk

When Game is Playing

Set Press/touching to 0

When X is pressed/touching Y

Set Press/touching to 1

When (anything, such as variable Z = 7)

Check once if Press/touching = 1

Insert code

Yeah sure of course but it would be much easier to just have it as a conditional

This is more of why I want it

Like the idea!

This does need to be added, tho like I’ve said in the past, until lag issues with when is touched can be fixed, the ability to use this as a conditional would be impractical as it would increase lag by so much
