#1

I want to hack a block like:

Is there any way of doing this?
Thx!

#2

What u mean by hacking? Actually making it work?

#3

umm only thing i can think of right now is values, sin and cos?

#4

Kinda... yeah...

I dunno what you mean

#5

like using values for detecting and then using the sin and cos for positison

#6

There is a way, it's the point towards block with some parts removed, basically. (Adding Later)
EDIT: NOT BLOCK, ability
EDIT2: It is

d is the distance
x2 and y2 are the x and y of the second object
x1 and y1 are the x and y of the first object
(reversed, I know. Math is weird that way)

#7

??

#8

But you can use values and set position blocks to do that

#9

Do you want some way to measure the distance from one object to another?
Not quite sure what you mean

#10

hmmm...
I have a faint idea of what ur saying...
can u explain, @Ihasfluffycupcakes?

#11

yep, @Giraffedolphin26

#12

Anyone?
I really need help! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

#13

Thx, @Fishyguitars, but is there a simpler way of doing this? I understand it, just that's I won't be be able to remember it!

#14

I will try to explain it tomorrow

#15

I don't think so, math is that complicated as well
(Plus making this is difficult, you have to scroll through values and more..)

#16

sooo...
it's the square root of x2-x1 squared plus y2-y1 squared?

#17

yeah! 20202020

#18

Hm... @system just edited my post... Whaa???
They resized the image... WHY, OH WHY?!?!?!?

#19

that should be easy enough to remember...
(5 seconds later...

I can't remember it!)

I just made a test project: https://c.gethopscotch.com/p/xrcydl3s8
It just measures the distance between the square and the circle.
