Hey, Hopscotch. As probably everyone knows, it’s a very special day for the world, whether you live in the United States or not. Today, we transition between two men, one who will leave his role as a president, and one who will begin his.
Now, you’re going to comment that this is off topic, but I do have something related to Hopscotch and Inauguration Day that we should realize. Before you flag, or jump to conclusions, here’s what I have to say.
On Hopscotch, people aren’t happy. They aren’t, and they’re spreading messages of their terror for the new president. Just look around Hopscotch and people are scared of every little possibility. No one is happy, as far as I’ve seen. No one is thinking about what could happen in a good light.
Now, I don’t really like the president-elect that much either, but why can’t we be positive for once? Why can’t we see him in a good light? Because, think about it. We have a system of checks and balances for a reason. You have to admit, the founders were pretty smart.
So, to be honest, Donald Trump will never really build a wall. He’ll never get to do most of the things he’s promised, and that’s okay, because a wall would’ve solved nothing. We have to be positive. Think of all the things he could do for America. He’s technically not alone- he’s got advisors and other people to help him. If he slips up, it won’t be too much of a problem. We have Congress for that reason.
Today I propose that we stop feeling so negative about this day and be positive. Think about all the wonderful things that you’ve done in the past. Put them all in a project and spread the word on Hopscotch. What’s happened to you that makes you feel amazing, and happy, yet free? Negativity doesn't help anyone at all. Explain to the rest of Hopscotch this challenge, and be positive. The world needs some optimism yet.
