So, some people might know I haven't been able to get onto Hopscotch on my iPad recently. It shows me a screen that says,
Hmm, it appears you are offline. Try connecting when you get back online.
I have been pretty confused as to why this was. I had a theory it had to do with the new 10.2 update Apple had just released, but I wasn't sure.
Then, in band class, my teacher said, "Hey guys, if you have updated you probably won't be able to access some of the apps. (Including hopscotch) so, try and find a device that will let you use SmartMusic."
Finally, I know why I can't use hopscotch.
Read this if you have NOT updated to 10.2:
Basically, Apple's new update has been messing with a lot of apps. It will give you messages that say, "Hmm, you look like you are offline," or, "cannot connect to internet."
So, Hopscotch is one of those apps. And I have to warn you not to update just in case this happens.
This does not mean that it will happen, but it could happen, and may be safer to not update your iPad/device.
If this has already happened to you:
Do not delete Hopscotch. I made that mistake. It is not a temporary 'bug,' it is a problem that cannot be solved by restarting hopscotch or the iPad.
Please make sure people see this. It's really important... and not worth the cool new emojis...
I'm sorry, everyone...
