Idea: Viewing where/how often a block/variable/object shape has been used

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

the ability to view how many times a block/variable/object shape has been used in a project, and in which rules.

I’d use it for this type of project:

I’d use it for when I can’t remember in what object’s code I set a variable to 1.

Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:

Convenience could possibly be improved? I don’t know.

Here is an example design I’ve made:

I’ve seen something similar in another programming languages, it looks like this:

I haven’t seen anything similar in other programming languages (because I don’t really use other programming languages).

Very creative!

I think a “Search for code” at the top of the object editor would work well

This is a very useful idea! Question: Will clones be included in this?

I don’t know if clones would be included

Cool idea! I would really love to see this in Hopscotch.

for example, you could clone an object to drag around. If you used that custom block for that, would they list the clone?

I guess? I don’t know
