# I’d like to see an oval shape in HS

### A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

An oval shape.

#### I’d use it for this type of project:

A project with ovals

IDK

#### Here is an example design I’ve made:

You could use a circle with a stretched width.

First post.

I second what SPE33 said

I third what SPE33 said

I’d like to see a 2D representation of a 3D slice of Calabi-Yau space.

what is that

O ok, you could just edit the width and height of a circle tho. Spe33 just said but idc

I’d like to see a trapezoid.

String theory used to require 10 dimensions, and these extra 6 spatial dimensions were theorized to be curled up on themselves (I can’t explain now, but if I have time I’ll explain tomorrow). Calabi-Yau space is essentially how they curl up on themselves.
(M-Theory, the theory that unites the five different string theories and 11D supergravity requires 11 dimensions, so a new type of space that has 7 curled up dimensions is required)

But they would have to create a system to allow you to change the size of the bases, but otherwise, good idea.

But that’s too confusing for little kids

That’s not exactly string theory

And it also depends on what string theory you are taking about
And this isn’t exactly the topic for this

I never said that was string theory. I said string theory requires/d it.
Also, untrue. All string theories require at least 10 dimensions.

I was kidding.

I’d like to see a point/shape editor.

Basically a shape where you define the vertecies and it gets filled. Essentially set your own points on an svg.

1 seed = 1 extra vertecy

And I would like world peace, but I think both of these ideas are too complicated to implement in such a simple environment.

(Sorry, I’m just kidding. That would be a good idea, but I think it may take away some of the charm of making shape art in Hopscotch)

You can do set width and height but make the width smaller than the number amount of height

width: higher than height
