(First off, 11 day revive woot)

So I have a project with what I am gonna call crafting, and I want to put a link to an external google doc in the project that will contain a crafting guide. Is this okay because it is an external link?

(This kinda matches this topic and I didn’t want to make a new topic so here you go)

No, I don´t think so. Can you tag me in an old post @M_W_K with the link you intend to share so that I can review it?

Sorry, but people can see your Google account. Docs was banned a couple of years ago for reasons.

Try to find another solution, like pastebin.com (with an unregistered account)

Oh but can anyone see any other personal information beyond name?

I don´t know, but it is still to much.

Alright, what about now? The only personal information would be my email.

Sharing emails is personal information and that is still not allowed. Consider finding another service than Google Docs.

No.
That’s not allowed at all

You can’t link to a Google Doc for several reasons (mainly CoF).
If I were you, I’d make a forum post, codepen, etc. Something that does not have chat, comments, or “user sharing”. Those options should be just as effective.
