Awesome tips @DrDuctape! I find these helpful when I'm formatting my posts. If you press the </> button on the bar, you'll find that you can type these brackets <> inside of them.

You can also do these:

<b> Bold </b> = Bold
<i> Italics </i> = Italics
<strike> Strike </strike> = Strike
<small> Small </small> = Small

Thanks for the great code..things.. (Edit: the word was tags..) It's annoying because only some HTML commands work and it's very finnicky.

I also love how all of them are fancy like superscript, italics, strike, but small is just 'small' :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I just remembered another useful one — it's called a keyboard tag, and it does this:

<kbd>Ctrl</kbd>
Ctrl

Useful if you're referring to a button or explaining a computer keyboard shortcut

Great tutorial, I love it!!
Nice work on finding it, it will deffenatly come in handy.
And don't worry, I will give you credit like always

Also, you can use letters like ├ T σ ╚ ▲
using the Alt Code!
how you do it is hold down Alt and press 3 numbers using the number kepad
(Sorry, Ipad users, this only works with a keyboard.)

#7

@DrDuctape iPad users can use copy-and-paste

That's what I do at least..

I like using hashtags better.

One hashtag

two Hashtags

Three Hashtags

Four hashtags

Five Hashtags
Six Hashtags

That's it

#13

UP Now go DOWN

#14

Or you can just use BBCode, makes everything easier lol

[b]Bold[/b]
[s]Strikethrough[/s]
[i]Italicized[/i]
[u]Underlined[/u]

And I know how to get some fonts too! Look:

  • When I use this ), that means you have to use this: >
  • When I use this (, that means you have to use this: <
  • When I use this ~, that means you have to use this: #
  • When I use this |, that means you have to use this: *
  • When I use this -, that means you have to use this: _

1.How to defy the 20 characters rule:

Just put this after your text.
Example:
Hello!< random gibberish

2.How to get bold text:

Put 2 *s at the front of the text you want to be bold and at the end of the text you want to be bold.

3.How to get slanted text:

Put a _ at the front and at the back of your text.

4.How to get

BIG

text:

Put a # before your text. See the effect?

BIG

BIG

BIG

BIG

BIG
BIG

Put six # before your text to get the smallest text size.

How do you make a vote?

#17

I

hope

this

works

yea

it
does

#18

If you want to be able to pick multiple votes, all you have to do is change the top poll to poll type=multiple with [ ] on both sides. And you can have more than 3 options, you can have up to 20 options on 1 poll. Here, this is how you do it:

  • Example 1
  • Example 2
  • Example 3

0voters
