For some reason, when a blank text object sets width to 55555 and height to 200 (I only tested three or so different values, and those were the only ones that were not NaN), the width is 75074. Except for when the project is restarted, when for one frame after set width and height it is 74. It only works when set width And height is the first block in a rule.
That’s cool! Thanks!
I think it’s only NaN when you use self height as the height in the set width Andy height block.
I forgot I had used that all before 200.
This will be extremely helpful for games, and a lot of things! Thankyou for making this tutorial, since I’ve always wondered how they did it.
Note to self: Does not work for web browser
Very interesting method! Thank you for sharing.
I made it to be used.
Just keep in mind that it doesn’t work in a web browser and may eventually be removed. I had planned to add that into the first post but edits were temporarily turned off.
Woah that’s cool
Nice, a new way to detect a restart! You’ve always been on a roll with figuring things out about Hopscotch!
Hey does this still work? Im using data and can’t play any project right now.
It doesn’t work on the website but I haven’t checked the app.
