How does flagging work?

How does flagging work?

Hi guys I am making this topic out of pure curiosity; I have never flagged anyone or have ever been flagged. These are just my questions:

  1. If you are flagged, do you get a notification?
  2. Is there any way to know who flagged you?
  3. Is there a limit of how many times you can flag per day?
  4. Do you get an automatic suspension if you reach a certain amount of flags?
  5. How much trouble can you get in for flagging for no reason?

If any of this offends you somehow, or a leader would like to close this, that is okay because if my questions aren't answered, its not the end of the world :stuck_out_tongue:
Ok, bye!

  1. You get a PM if the post is hidden
  2. No
  3. Don't think so
EDIT: With each trust level it goes up (the limit prevents spam)
  4. No, it's manual
  5. As much as making a mean comment, I guess

Oh ok thanks. And hash tag times 4 XD

you are flagged, do you get a notification? You're sent a PM but that doesn't always give you a notification
Is there any way to know who flagged you? I can tell, and if they're flagging a ton of your posts, I'll call them out on it
Is there a limit of how many times you can flag per day? Yeah, it changes with each trust level though
Do you get an automatic suspension if you reach a certain amount of flags? No, but if you reach a certain amount of flags, you'll gets demoted to member, and if you're being really bad, I'll suspend you for a bit
How much trouble can you get in for flagging for no reason? idk hasn't happened before

#8

Ok thank you! You can close if you want.

#9

No it's fine that this stays open

#10

This is a really useful topic so I don't see why it should be closed

@PopTart0219 agrees yay

#11

This seems to be the only one left unanswered still:
How much trouble can you get in for flagging for no reason?
The last person who did it was suspended, and when they did it again they were blocked.

#12

Ok, thank you!

#13

This should to be added to an FAQ (is there an FAQ topic right now, I know there's an auto-generated one that comes with the forum tho)

#14

And then that comes the first blocked user...well then

#15

I mean, there's 44 people blocked right now

#16

How many of them are alts

#17

I have no idea :stuck_out_tongue:

#18

Would it be a good idea to spew out the 44 users?
(I whisper naw)

#19

No because some of them actually really should be blocked

#20

How many are tests and stuff?

Also I've only seen one person get blocked (and a lot of alt accounts)
