How do you add voice in iMovie?

Hey!

I'm trying to do a commentary of the new game I made called Dräsnook. I record it, and when I checked the video to make sure the audio was there, the audio of my voice was there. But when I move it into iMovie, my voice goes away, but the in-game sounds are there!

Does anyone know how to enable my voice?

Is this hopscotch related?

#3

Yes, he is doing a hopscotch YouTube video

#4

Oh ok

#5

Is this what you mean?

You can use it to record over your video.

#6

I could do that, but I already recorded my voice in the app.

#7

Hmmm..🤔
I can't really help at this point, since my iPad is old and doesn't have the record feature.. So I have no clue!

#8

I don't know, maybe iMovie doesn't support the recording feature on hopscotch? (And yes I have both iMovie and the record button)

#9

Do I really have to record over the vid... -_-

(Not directed to anyone)

#10

most likely yea..............................................

#11

That was a problem I had as well! (that's why I can't edit my vids :frowning:)

Maybe click the microphone or make the volume louder in the control panels.
