I want to make a project but it won’t let me it says I need to subscribe. Must I subscribe or is there a way to make a project without money? I can do the tutorials I suppose but they are somewhat glitchy on my end. Even then, I still can’t publish the project. I wanted to play a game and post my result also but it wouldn’t let me.

hmm, that’s weird, you could code a project using the web explorer. i thought you just had a limited amount of projects you can make. that problem is certainly unusual, maybe make sure hopscotch is fully updated?
if you can’t find any other solution, you could switch to the web explorer, where you dont have to have a sub to create, and you can access all HS features, besides the beta editor and that kinda stuff.
hello! are you trying to remix someone’s project? if thats what youre trying to do, unfortunately you are not able to remix a project made by someone who has the subscription. however though, you are fully able to remix a project made by people who did not pay! :)
i read “play a game and post my result” in the last sentence so thats why im guessing youre trying to remix
Hello, can you link the project please? I can see if it’s in advanced mode or not. If it is, you can’t remix it without the subscription.
Can you give us any context on what you are trying to do?
Are you trying to create a new draft, or are you trying to remix an existing project that may or may not have Advanced Mode turned on? This will help us figure out the issue here…

New users generally get around 10 posts per day. They only posted once (twice if you count topic creations) so far…

Yeah, but you usually don’t get restricted (as a new user) from posting any more post after only 1 single post. That would’ve been totally unfair to the new user…
Plot Twist: they did post something else, but are waiting for the post to be approved by moderators.

That is really weird and also kind of annoying. how do I fix this?
My mistake I didn’t want to remix the game, it was actually an art drawing thing. I don’t know how to link a project but it is called kaleidocosmos or something similar
Hey, welcome to the forum!
I’ve noticed this too when creating a collab account with MarkerGames.
You can create the project via explore.gethopscotch.com.
Then add one object, click the 3 dots button, and click “save and exit”.
Then restart Hopscotch.
Then you’ll see the project, and you can work on it without advanced mode.
You need to do this for every single project you have, if this account is less than around 2.5 months old.
the web explorer is basically hopscotch but on a website. it’s a little different though.
this is super strange, normally you don’t have to subscribe so don’t be discouraged.

Yeah, that’s a big reason why I like HS so much more than Scratch. Also you can’t have custom images ://
what?? hs is better than scratch because coding on the web explorer is slow??
