This event/competition/challenge is started by me (@Alboy) and all the currencies, rewards, and prizes are handled by me, not Hopscotch. You can find other similar self-started events in Competitions & Events, or even start one yourself. Because this is started by me, Hopscotch and the forum leaders are not involved or responsible in any of the transactions here.
I decided I wanted to make chess on the forum
So here it is
I decided to connect it to Fishy Friends, as explained below!
Chess
Chess is a strategic game where you move your pieces and try to trap the opponent’s king.
In this topic, you can challenge someone to play chess with you. I will post the chess board seen below, and you can tell me to move your pieces to specific spots, like saying @Albot move bishop to A1. If there are multiple pieces that are the same that can both move to that space, specify, like: @Albot move the bishop that’s closer to the top of the board to A1. Alternatively, you could just name the square that the piece you want to move is on, like @Albot move A6 to A1
In the future, I may add a mode where you guys can control the board yourself- it would be pretty easy for me but you guys would have to not mess up, so I’ll just be the one to control for at least the first few games.
Decide who is which color, and then tag me to start the match. Prizes
If you want to play a default game, the prize will be 100 Fish Flakes🐟 for Fishy Friends.
You can play a casual game, where you don’t get any prize for winning.
You can also bet; say like @/I_Cant_Code I challenge you to a game of chess! The loser will give the winner their most valuable fish!

I’m pretty sure that you’ll just repost the board every single time, or maybe edit a single post for a while? But i’m probably going to be controlling the board for the first few games, and then i might open it up to you guys to do it yourself, but I want to make sure i know how to do it so i can help you if you get it wrong or something

Other than that i dont know how to lol, AE’s modded stuff and stuff like that doesn’t work on my school ipad which i use 99% of the time
And it works on the forum, it’ll just be a bit slower by a bit a i mean a lot
