Hopscotch Academy 2
established in 2019
Learning about Coding in Hopscotch as well as a fun and friendly open resource anyone can use!
Welcome back everyone! The principal of the original Hopscotch Academy, @WynterDiamond left the forum awhile ago, and several things needed to get fixed up with the school, so here is Hopscotch Academy 2! We offer courses for Hopscotch and the forum, sign up today!
How does this work?**
Teachers supply ready to use courses for students to use at any time, think of us as an Open Source! We have passive courses that you can read about whenever you want, and active courses which only students can participate in and are more interactive. Teachers are required to write a certain amount of passive courses each month, and they should also be running an active course.
All about students
Students are the learners here in this topic. They can participate in active courses, which are more interactive than passive courses. Active courses are taught by one or more teachers that teach lessons and assign homework so you can do some learning by yourself.Student Sign Up Sheet:

All about teachers
Teachers create the lessons that students and other forum users learn from. Teachers must write at least 2 passive lessons each month. You can also run an active course if you want, but if you only want to write passive courses, that’s ok too. You will also assign homwork and answer questions for students in active courses.Teacher Sign Up Sheet:

Active Courses
These courses are being actively taught by teachers and are interactive. Ask your teacher any questions you might have. Homework will also be assigned. These courses are for students only to ensure they are doing homework. Once a course is completed, it will be turned into a passive course.Coding Ideas Starting February 23rd (Taught By @HopscotchRemixer)
Passive Courses
These are courses that can be learnt at anytime, although please be aware that the teacher may not be able to answer questions about the topic, as they might have left. These courses are Open Source and can be used by anyone.Meta-Forum Course
