Hey! Welcome back @Rodrigo! I remember you!
I don’t think we’ve interacted though, so I’m Fundardo, semi-retired hopscotcher but thinking about making a project soon.
Anyways, to respond to this
First off, before I start my wishlist, I just want to say that I really like Hopscotch as an app and would easily recommend it over any other coding app to a beginner
Anyways, if there is one thing that often stops me from turning my ideas into actual projects, it’s custom sounds
Custom sounds
That said, I feel like the thing that I’m missing the most in my games is custom sounds, as a person who makes music, I would love to add (non-vocal) soundtracks to my projects, but also just sound effects in general. The current library feels extremely limited.
If you wanted to make moderation for this less difficult, maybe you could have a Hopscotch-wide “sound library” where people upload their sounds once and then the sounds can be reused by multiple people over multiple projects so like that less sounds are being uploaded to moderate.
(also with custom sounds, volume (and panning if possible) would be nice)
Sound design is after all one of the fundamental aspects of game creation… a good game without sounds is mediocre, a good game with good sounds is amazing.
If custom sounds are too complicated, as others requested, maybe an extended library of SFX and notes, also instruments.
I think it’s only fair for these to be a part of the subscription, as custom images are
All the following are wayyy less important to me than custom sounds but if you’re looking for ideas:
Draft folders
Draft folders would be amazing (especially if folders in the folders are allowed), because I have a LOT of drafts, never could really organize them. The same goes for published projects, I’m thinking maybe an extra page similar to the “playlist” section on YouTube channels, so you could efficiently organize game-series and stuff like that. Again, this one is very secondary but I feel like it could be really interesting
Inter-project variables
I made a topic on this a while ago, this would also imply inter-project purchases which would simply be amazing
Importing user variables from your other games
And there is some confusion in the comments on that so let me clear it up a bit: this wouldn’t be for all variables, you would select a few that cou would want to reuse (maybe a limited amount?) as inter-project variables.
Also since you’re a designer, if you want a Halloween character, @/tankt2016 once came up with “count toucula” and a design
only image I could find of his majesty :(

Anyways, happy to see you back, and hope you enjoy your stay at Hopscotch!
