Hey guys, how do you take away the editing option in your project so no one can see code? I’ve been wanting to figure this out for more than 3y so anyone who tells me thank you so so so much
Edit: Thank you to all of you you helped me so much. But before I try it, can I update an already existing project and hide its code with that block? Please tell me if you can it’ll help a lot. Thanks!

Hey there, welcome!
Putting the “request seeds” block in the project makes the edit button disappear in the app (it’s only with the request block to prevent people from changing prices of in-game purchases).
As of writing this post, it is a block that’s only available to subscribers, and it allows you to request seeds for things like in-game items

You’ll need to subscribe. You’ll get a seed block which can be used to disable editing. But make sure you include a reason for the block. A donation would work best.
You could also make it so opening an object causes the app to crash, but that’s much harder to do…
Welcome to the Forum, btw.

Unfortunately, that’s a thing only subscribers can do, with the request seed block

Hey, welcome!
You can hide your code by using a Request Seeds block anywhere in your code. You can use it to create in-app purchases in your game, or add an optional donation button. Unfortunately, as of right now, the seed block is only available to subscribers.
You should consider showing your code though. If you do, others can learn techniques from your code so you can teach them coding skills without having to do anything. You don’t have to show your code if you don’t want to though.

Thank you all so much! But I got another question: Updating in already existing project, can you also put that block to hide your code?

I’m not really sure but I think so

You can – just note that anyone who has already saved a draft/remixed the project will still have access to it.
Also, on the web version of HS, editing is disabled but people can still see the code.
