Hi everyone,
I need a little help. I am trying to make thick letters on Hopscotch. I am making a logo, and I am not sure the best way to make the letters thicker. I figured out something, but I feel like there has to be a simpler way. I tend to overcomplicate things. Thanks!

Like bold letters?

#3

Yeah pretty much! Bold and big!

#4

Sine and cosine/clones works well. I don't know anything else that wouldn't be super overcomplicated. I won't go on if that's what you have already.

#7

I'd say clones would be a bit easier

#8

Please go on! I value your advice, you're such a good coder!

#9

One way would be to just use large text. Otherwise you could create a certain number of clones, programming the clone(s) to "change X by" a small positive and/or negative number, so they are close enough to look like one text but comprised of two or more texts!

Hope this helps,

Bold letters are cool. You think you could make italics

#11

Thanks! :D

I'll get a few screenshots, one minute...

#12

Thank you sooo much!!!

#13

Bold letters are cool.

#14

Maybe sin and cos? I can teach you

#15

That could work! Yeah, could you give me a few pointers and tips on how to make this using sin and cos, @CrystalPanda?

#16

You can play around with the numbers to get different boldness sizes.

yay for poor editing skills XD

actually, I think the Set Speed is unnecessary...

#17

Thank you sooo much! Do you want credit in my project?

#18

I am assuming, yes it's always good to give credit!

#19

No, it's fine. I adapted it from MagmaPOP's project :D.

#20

What app do you use? :0

#21

I just used ProCreate, but any app where you can import images/ erase parts of them would work.

#22

So @codingCupcake123, you should give credit to @MagmaPOP!
