Have Text and Image Width Parameters Be the Same/why do they differ?

produces:

I expected it to produce:

all I had to do was switch the set width/height block and the set image square but the same code was fine with the original object so something isn’t right

Hmm. Can you give a link to the project?

This is not fair really.

?

I don’t think it requires a link, that’s all there is to see really

Ahh. I see now. Its first a text, right? But then you set it to an image, which had different parameters than the text. The order does matter.

This is normal. It set width as a text object, so it was 925 units wide and 190 units tall — the same size units as the units used in the editor grid (the x and y ones). But the width/height units are different for different shapes (they’re the same for quadrilaterals and the rounded square), so since you set width before setting image, it was still 925 text units wide and 190 text units tall when it changed to an image of a round square. That same measurement in quadrilateral units is different.

Also, will you be adding commas to the lyrics?

It would make more sense but I don’t think that’s how it works. What I said is just based on what I’ve found by coding.

Petrichor or AE probably know more than me though.

They should act the same but it doesn’t always work. I actually don’t really know
