So I’m making a tank project, and I wanted the collision with the ground to be realistic. My plan is to calculate the highest point in the collision area, then find the next highest & most distant point from that point within the collision area. Then with those 2 points I could figure out the height and angle of the tank. I made a bit of code that should calculate those two points, but it’s not working at all. Could I get some help with that?
I didn’t want to publish the project, but here it is:
Oh and btw, I haven’t made the code to convert the points into tank position. I’ll do that some other time.
Oh wow that’s incredible! I don’t think I would be able to help because I’m working on a couple big things. Good luck!
Thanks!
Owwwww I specifically mentioned it was a WIP and yet it’s getting more popularity in an hour than half of my projects
Oy how dare somebody rename the topic!
(Jk it’s fine)
Does anyone know why the collision program isn’t working?
Which object has the collision code?
It’s the rounded arrow called track maker
I will take a look at it…
So how exactly do you want the ground collision to look?
No, the problem is that the code isn’t running
Ok, that is very strange. Do you think it’s a glitch, or a problem with the code?
I actually think it is something wrong with the wait blocks I am using. I don’t see why it is them though.
Hmmm… (sorry this reply is late)
clive please leads
Yeah, like it literally doesn’t finish the track on the tank if the tank is moving. Maybe have the controls disabled until the track has finished. Might not solve it, but a finished track is better than half a track, right? And what is the ground collision supposed to do and what is it colliding with?
@Leaders Clive?
