Get the next something letters from letter something in string

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

A block to get some amount of letters starting at some index in a variable.

I’d use it for this type of project:

Projects where I want to have a different keyboard, reading specific words from a longer paragraph, using it as a list that can be slightly longer than a single variable and is slightly less buggy than using clones and is easer for people to read, drawing pads with layers and undo with less clones, storing levels as a string.

Here is an example design I’ve made:

Is there a way to do this already with matches and regex in general? I kind of need this lol

No, but I think you can make something out of < > <= and >=

Not that I know of.

Maybe but it would be very slow and not very easy to make or understand.

Correct – you’d have to check each character individually and the set would be limited.
