I would love to get this but unfortunately it’s just too expensive for me.
Also, why does it say “Ad free”? Hopscotch is already ad free. Does this imply that there will be ads soon?

And “Special characters”? Does that refer to holiday characters like the Halloween characters? Will these be exclusive to subscribers only?

You will set up the accounts for you and your family members (up to 5 accounts, if you have more than that you will need to contact us) when you purchase the lifetime family pass. You cannot add/remove members after that.
Descriptions for the family pass in our email are intended for people who’ve not seen/used Hopscotch before to tell them what Hopscotch is.

We already have them, we’re just choosing which ones, which order, etc.

We have been planning to add more characters to Hopscotch in the future that would be exclusive to subscribers! But yes, for right now, it refers to seasonal characters.

You can purchase it (if you want to take advantage of the sale promotion right now), and after your current subscription expires you will keep the subscription from lifetime pass forever.
Alternatively, you can also wait until your current subscription expires. It’s up to you!

Will this be a tier above or at the same level of the current subscription? Will there be features only this subscription has in the future? Also is it promised that by purchasing this all future features will be granted to everyone who has the pass no matter what? (with the exception of certain programs that are invite only and not paid)

All future subscription-only features will be available for lifetime family pass. There will not be a situation where you will need to buy another yearly/monthly subscription.
Essentially, it’s like a subscription that never expires. So anything that subscribers get, you will get it with lifetime family pass.
