This project has been updated.

  • The text now actively centers as it’s being typed out, and unlike the normal set text method, there’s no word wrap.

What’s new? Added supports for new-line characters, either by an actual new-line or \n. Escaping the backslash with another backslash will cancel the \n function.

It’s pretty good so far, it’ll be really cool once you add the centering and speed it up if you can!

That’s as fast as I can make it without the spacing between thinner characters being messed up.

art tool demo is out!

project checklist:

draw on the pad
access the menu
change HSB on the palette
use the selected colour on the pad
access the settings menu and change settings [FPS on/off, RGB to HSB toggle, and view/draw mode etc.]
access the pen settings menu [change size, pen type etc.]

I like it! I would recommend using bezier or whatever it is curves to get smooth lines like in tri’s

yeah, i was thinking the same thing. im honestly just trying to get it done, but before or after publishing i might add a setting for smooth draw. thanks!
