Every time follower count are mentioned it does this same thing:
Someone asks about them
People say it’d lead to bullying
Someone suggests either making them private or optional
More ideas are discussed

Have you ever wanted to see how many of your projects were liked and how many followers you have? Well that’s what I would like to see in Hopscotch. Basically you would have to tap on the settings button and you would see an option that says “User Information” and you would tap on it and see a button Called: (Username)’s Likes and Followers, and if you click on it you would see your Likes and Followers. I think that that would be an awesome feature to have!

Also, hopscotch is a coding app, not a social media app. That’s why these features aren’t available in app. Oddly, your number of followers is still stored (just not viewable in app)

Yes, it has been - I don’t think this would be the best idea though since things would get competitive.

There has been consistent debate about this for quite some time, but it was ultimately struck down because of issues with jealousy. Some might get jealous of another because of follower count, and it could cause a chain reaction of people leaving over popularity reasons.
You can find your follower count through a website, not sure what it’s called.
