Ughhhh yes this is aggravating
Oh well I’ve had new iPads so lol
Yeah same here
It is specific to Hopscotch, but it has to do with JS canvas rendering
It has been around for years now
can it easily be fixed?
Set size to 0.01% I think fixes it. You could also change the position or destroy the object.
would it still be basically invisible?
I think so. I’m pretty sure it’s a way that I have solved the problem before.
yes, it should.
Considering the size of a shape is typically 75x75, setting it to 0.01% sets it to .0075 px
I thought that you were SportyGeographer
he changed his user a while ago
@PumpkinGirl a new topic was made on this so should this be clived or is it ok to leave both?
before I decide- could you poke me to the other topic- thanks!
What kind of device are you using?:
iPad iOS 13.5.1
Description of the problem:
I am pretty sure others have covered this already, but I was shrinking an object to 0%, then I went to publish and the object was large again!
Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:
- Make an object, such as the circle I used, and set its size to 0%
- Attempt to publish a project
I expected this to happen:
No giant circle
But instead this happened:
Here’s a sweet screenshot:
please search before you post:)
but this is an interesting bug
hmm weird, love that project tho, it looks amazing!
Setting size to 0 has always done weird things. It’s essentially “removing” it until you set it again.
by the way setting size 0.075 will make it not do that
So I should set size to 0 and set invisibility 100%
This is strange.
When I do it, similar thing happens.
When game starts, set size percent 0
On hitting share, robo (who I used for this) appears in the very top left corner, even though he was originally in the center of the screen with no positional code?
