1 sentence description of the problem (I was doing _________, and then __________ happened): I went to create a new project and was trying to add a new object, but I was unable to.

Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:

  1. Go to the Web Explorer and log in
  2. Create a new or edit an existing project
  3. Try to tap the drop-down menu in the side drawer

I expected this to happen: The menu to expand

But instead this happened: Nothing happened

Here’s a sweet screenshot:

Thanks for making a report for this. We’ve added it to our list to prioritise and fix too.

Have fun! I’m not sure if we’ll get it fixed before then though – I think this was an existing issue that I’d encountered before. But it’s definitely something we want to prioritise.

(You should be able to edit existing drafts on the web explorer either way, just not create new ones from scratch on web explorer. You can create a draft on iOS and edit it on web explorer if you like, for a temporary workaround.)

I found these errors in the console via inspecting:

  • Error: cannot find module ‘sortablejs/modular/sortable.complete.esm.js’
  • ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: ProjectBlock
  • Load failed

Hope these help.

We pushed out a fix for this – you should be able to create and edit projects on the web explorer again.

It might require a force refresh on the page to clear cache (you can search ‘force refresh’ for your browser)

I can confirm this is fixed. I’ll let Tri-Angle know once they’re back from their travel.
