Hey guys. So I need to say something...
I'm made fun of for using hopscotch...
All of my friends call it fake coding, and they say that if you use it then you're too lazy to ever make a real program and you'll never be a great programmer. If you don't know, my dream job is to work at Hopscotch as a software developer, so it really hurt my feelings that ALL of my friends think Hopscotch is useless. (Except for @RussellPROfant! Thanks for sticking with Hopscotch! ) the reason I haven't posted very many projects on Hopscotch recently is because I kinda gave up because all of my "friends" discouraged me.
My friends are also kinda mad at me because, at our school, we used to have a programming club. I thought it would be cool to have a Hopscotch club at our school, so I convinced the teachers to add a Hopscotch club. During the process, they also removed the programming club. That was all of my friends favorite club, and they're blaming me for its removal, and they hate me now because they're in bad clubs.
But the point of my message isn't to get pity. It's to spread the message, that not only Hopscotch isn't bad, but all Block-Based coding isn't bad or weird.
Spread the word!! Use the hashtag #BlockCodingIsntBad, and we can make projects that spread the word!
And if someone can manage to make a profile picture for me that shows that Block-Bases coding isn't bad, that would be awesome!
Can someone get me the OMTL?
