Do you think that Hopscotch is still a coding app or turning into more of a social media platform. This is very important for me to know.

  • Hopscotch is a coding app
  • Hopscotch is more of a social media platform

I don’t go on it often. But I can imagine what it is like now.

I think that some good coders may have left, but new good ones are coming!

  • There are too many non- coded projects (RPs, art, etc.) and this is not okay
  • Non- coded projects are fine, and there are a lot
  • Non- coded projects are fine, but there aren’t a lot
  • There are not so many non- coded projects, but they are not okay

#6

#7

yes

#8

Okay.
Thank you for your input.

#9

It’s both.

#10

It is actually not both.

#11

it’s a literal coding app meant for children, what’re u talking about

#12

First, it’s OBVIOUSLY A CODING APP. IT LETS YOU CODE.

Second, it also lets you share things so it is, by definition, social media.

#13

See if it was social networking, it would say social networking & education

#14

What I meant is what does it seem like?

#15

It seems like no body pays attention to the fact that Hopscotch was fully intended to code projects that you can share and create

#16

there are lots of apps that let you connect with people online

though that dosent technically mean they would be classified as social media

#17

Read the definition. Anything that has a community is social media. Hopscotch is social media, Mario maker is social media, heck, even Minecraft is social media.

#18

the app was not marketed or titles as social media, so therefore it’s not

anksjajdja just let me watch my anime in peace

#19

It is, BY DEFINITION

#20

I don’t think Hopscotch really relates to a social network
