THT would have to spend tons time making waivers/contracts, contacting parents, etc. Just to talk outside the forum. With how small THT is that would be extremely difficult.
I think that would be a great idea in theory, but too much for the size of THT.
That’s true. Although, they might be able to get some of the olders Leaders to help with that, and they could make it so that you’d only need to get it signed once; if two people already had it signed in the past, they could make a request without going through the trouble of getting it signed again.
Parents should just teach their kids good safety principles on how to use the internet.
Some parents don’t teach that. Hopscotch is sort of taking on that role, which is fine. But Hopscotch can’t force anyone to do anything, they can only encourage good behavior. But that’s not gonna stop anybody.
Sorry, I thought you meant this point: “I dont think that old leaders are going to come back to check waivers of talking on discord imo”
You’re saying that ex-Leaders won’t come back to do this, which is probably true, when I meant older in age.
Regular is a little high, even Member would do, along with the other things such as parental consent.
Or, keeping the Member minimum, we could just go with what JonnyGamer said. If a parent doesn’t teach their child internet safety before letting them use the Internet, that’s on the parent.
