Custom text formatting

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

The ability to format text to your desire.

I’d use it for this type of project:

When you want a line break only after a certain point.

Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:

If you had a long peace of text that you wanted to go along the bottom of the screen instead of auto-formatting.
Maybe also bold/italic/underscore etc.

Different idea but would still be very helpful

hmm, that one talks about fonts? but this one talks about formatting?

similar, but this seems different enough to be its own topic.

THT could make it so text doesn’t break unless you put a newline (“\n”) character at the end of a line.

Or even easier would be to make non breaking spaces work

yes

I was almost positive there were topics on this—I guess not

That’s a Unicode thing, right?
I’m more familiar with ASCII, so I like the idea of a newline escape character more.

I know I’ve seen code that formats the text before (y’know those typing simulators?) but I’m not sure if it’s ever made its way to an app suggestion

What do you mean by non-breaking spaces?

Cool

It’s a Unicode character that overrides the newline (So text will be printed on the same line as opposed to the next one)
