Creating a clone a few blocks after setting text stretches the clone

If you use set text and set z index on an object, any clones created later will be stretched.

That’s really odd. Nice catch

@ana edits are still broken : )

Z index doesn’t seem to have anything to do with it.
Just any block between set text and create a clone seems to stretch it.

What if you set image instead of set text (like with a shape)?
Still happen?

Pretty sure it’s only text, since text updates the texture between frames 2 and 3, while other shapes do it in 1 frame

That’s the same way that the texts stretch in the bug I reported ( Set text/sprites changing randomly )

Later on when I added set z index, it did the same thing (not not necessarily to a clone)

I added 5 blocks in between and it still stretched

I think that is true.

How do you use z index?

Z index is layering so whichever number has the highest z index will be in front, and whichever object has the lowest z index will be in the back
It’s sort of like an advanced bring to front/send to back
