For @Ana

Your username:

What kind of device are you using?:
5th gen iPad with iPadOS 13.x.x
1 sentence description of the problem (I was doing _________, and then __________ happened):
I was coding my story, and then I found out that I couldn’t copy and paste text in HS.
Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:

  1. Not fix this?
  2. Idk
    ….

I expected this to happen:
For it to copy and paste
But instead this happened:
No pop up for copy and pasting showed up, and the buttons won’t work.
Here’s a sweet screenshot:

This happening to anyone else? It only happens in Hopscotch for me.

I am not sure, but THT could have removed this feature in one of the latest updates, accidentally or intentionally.

This happens to me also, it’s frustrating

It started happening when I first started using the betas of iOS 13, it’s possible they removed it recently instead of trying to fix it

THT removed it I’m pretty sure
We’ve all been annoyed when writing our stories without this feature

I might be able to get around it

It works for me.
But then again I’m on like ios 10

It works nice for me.
But I am at iOS 12

It’s an iOS 13 change with clipboard actions.

Yeah it’s happening, it bugs me.

Pun intended

Yes, same with me. If this was fixed, so many coded stories would be saved

We have a fix that will be out in the next release. Thanks for your patience!

This has to do with several new dev stuffs (I forget the names) modules in iOS 13 that require a general compatibility update for the app, right? Other things such as tap file into app don’t work on iOS 13 but do work on older versions of iOS, just like copy paste.

Can you make another topic with other things are broken? What’s wrong with tap file into app?

And yes, you’re right. Apple sometimes breaks things with new updates of their OS. It’s not a general compatibility update so much as individual features change slightly and break old apps. You’ve seen this with Hopscotch!
