Color Finder in Hs?

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

Color Finder, you would put in an X and Y coordinate, and it would find out what color is on that pixel

I’d use it for this type of project:

Maybe an art pad, or emoji pixel art creator

Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:

Art pads, which are wildly spreading could be made simpler

Here is an example design I’ve made:

I’ve seen something similar in another programming languages, it looks like this:

I can’t access it rn, but I believe scratch.mit.edu has something like this

This is a great idea! Besides art pads, here are some other ideas for this block that I can think of: Something which takes whatever is on the stage and takes a few pixels and turns them into large dots. Not very useful, but it is fun to make.
You could extend that idea and use it to create pixel art templates in the app.
You could make color wheels for picking colors more easily.
You could make zoom on art pads

Also, if possible adding the ability to use it as variables would be great. That would make things like fill on drawing pads a lot easier.

This is an amazing idea! I would really like to have this added to Hopscotch.

Interesting idea, but it can’t know what way you want the colors to be.
It doesn’t know if you want a rainbow or grayscale, so I think the idea might need some improvement.

I would actually really find this useful…

Wow! I really like this idea, it sounds so useful especially for pixel arts (even though I draw 99% of the time lol)
