Coding Gossips [OFFICIAL]

I’d love to test, but I don’t know C/C++

Oof, maybe at some point I’ll add more information to the documentation so it’ll cover pointers too, then.

I faint as soon as I see more than 3 lines in a language’s hello world so sorry lol
In fact, I’m trying to make a couple programming language but they 100% won’t qualify as a programming language since they’re just lazy JavaScript just adding js code to a string depending on keywords then running an eval

@ALBUS this might be a bit overwhelming but it’s useful: https://www.w3schools.com/

Oh, lol. This is a hello world program in my language:

SET hello_world “Hello World!\n”
SET end 0

TAG MAIN

MOV EAX 1
LEA RBX [hello_world]
LEA RCX [end - hello_world]

CALL WRITE

END

As you can see, it’s kinda complicated.

Wow that’s large
Judging by the “mov” it’s probably low level (is that the right term”
Here’s Hello world in the language I’m working on (and am most proud of)

Log(Hello World)

/ As you can see functions aren’t case sensitive and '' and "" are not used
/ It’s not much of a programming language but rather a concept that I have implemented in really bad JavaScript

The language is meant to simulate assembly, but it’s not assembly. It’s actually a high level language, all the registers and instructions are just meant to simulate that of assembly’s.

Ohh I see
So like assembly but it’s secretly not assembly language and has big strong

Well, it’s instruction set is a bit different than assembly. And I don’t know of any assembly language that uses all uppercase, but I guess you could say that. The purpose of this was to just be a simple language so I could then get to making more complicated languages.

I see lol
I made hyfon and it’s 100% a poorly made JavaScript shorthand for element handling even the math and other functions used to return stuff are the same as js and looks extremely ugly since it’s full of hyphens and no spaces

I think projects.html instead of /projects.html would fix it

edit: yeah it worked
love the styling

Just wrote my first Express hello world. :smile:

var express = require('express');
var app = express();

app.get('/', function(req, res) {
    res.send('Hello world!');
})

app.listen(3000);

(Express is a Node.js (Javascript) framework, if you haven’t heard of it!)

Hey Rawrbear, sorry to pester you before, and sorry to ask you this again, but are you familiar with C/C++?
