Intro

I run a class using hopscotch and people keep chatting and remixing projects

My Class Suggestion

In the My Class tab people chat. The educator accounts should get more abilities.

Deleting Peopleโ€™s Projects

As I said people chat. Us educator accounts should be able to delete our classes projects without getting in their accounts, we should also be able to have a notice board section for our class or a thing where we can pin projects

Conclusion

Please Conceder These.

Hey there,

Thanks for your request, I will add that to our feature request list.

The reason why we do not have the feature available for educator is that our teachers have access to their studentsโ€™ account username/password. So usually they would be able to facilitate the class and moderate the project that way.

Here are two workarounds for you in the meantime:

  • Since you run the class, you can try setting expectations with your students and let them know that they shouldnโ€™t be chatting.
  • Log into your studentsโ€™ accounts and delete those projects.

Also for future reference, you would not need to tag everyone when you make a suggestion. I read most of the posts regarding feedback and bug reports.

Great suggestion!
While Iโ€™ve never had a class account myself, I think this would be useful for educators to use to help keep their students on track.
