Bug In Hopscotch

#1

Use this template to make awesome bug reports:

Your username: SportyGeographer

What kind of device are you using?: iPad

1 sentence description of the problem (I was doing _________, and then __________ happened): Most of the time I go into one of my drafts, I have to exit and go back in.

Steps to make the problem happen:

  1. Go into Draft
  2. Press home button when loading sign is up
    ….

I expected this to happen: The project opens

But instead this happened: It says “Womp! Something went wrong, try closing this project and opening it again.

Here’s a sweet screenshot:

I will get the womp sign soon.

Can you possibly publish your draft (just for a while) so that I can check the JSON and figure out if anything is wrong?

#3

It only does it in drafts. I don’t know why.

#4

Could you specific as to what type of iPad you are on? I don’t know if you’re on an iPad Pro or an iPad 2.

This sometimes happens to me when I first start a draft. If you go back out and back in it works though.

#5

I don’t know, I think something like a 4.

#6

Take a look here so that you can determinate your iPad version:

Also, do you have the latest version of the Hopscotch App?

#7

This happens when the code isn’t fully loaded. Try opening the editor for ten seconds or so and then playing.

#8

Yes. And I’ll try that @NindroidGarnes!

#9

I’m pretty sure iPad Pro, but not positive. I just checked😂

#10

Well, have you tried publishing and then unpublishing the project? Because you said that this only happened when you were in drafts.

#11

No, I’ll try that now. I think it’s just what Nindriod said, but thanks!

#12

Do you want to come on a white board fox? IDK. ASKING RANDOM PEEPS…

#13

What is a white board fox?

#14

A place where I send you a link and you tap on it and we draw together.

#15

In that case, not really. I am a horrible drawer.

Oh, and to chat too. You can help other people draw, like small details.
