1 sentence description of the problem (I was doing _________, and then __________ happened):I was coding using numbers and then the negative was backwards.

Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:
1.Make a clone or have at least 2 objects in your code
2. Add a local variable set to default
3. Add a code that relies on that variable
4. Edit the variable
5. Copy it and paste into another rule

I expected this to happen: regular negative

But instead this happened: backwards negative

Here’s a sweet screenshot:

You can refresh hopscotch to fix it but it will come back

:joy::joy::joy: i absolutely love this bug XD

are you able to edit the number like normally? like increase by one, add 10, etc?

Yes, I can still edit it but the negative sign will be at the end instead

I have a bug quite similar to this, except it only lets me put in colours (for some reason). Just delete the block and add it again it should work

That’s definitely strange. Hm I wasn’t able to get it to happen yet by following the steps.

For these steps, do you mean edit it to include the - sign, then copy and paste the whole Increase variable block?

its been happing to me as well but i dont think those were my steps. don’t remember how i did it tho. i’ll mess around with it a bit and see if i can find the other reproduction

No, copy paste the whole rule and then edit it to get the negative sign
