Yay! Art! I know a lot of you have passion for art ! And so much more !
As you know Valentine’s Day is coming up soon ! And there is also a comp for if ! So finally announcing… The Valentine’s Art Competition !
Or TVAC ! And for the comp the final topic is Valentine’s animal !

  • we do encourage you to do somethings with coding
    Like trail art and shape art and adding on to your art ! Thanks for understanding !
  • you may not submit an old drawing
  • please make them appropriate for all ages
  • I would apreciate if you did it digital
  • please make it have a tranparent backround

commissions for games on the other hand are allowed. you may want to take this into consideration…

heyo!

as @FRENCH_WAVE123 has mentioned, most art on the forum must serve a coding purpose. non-code art finds its way into portfolios in the DHT!

some ideas to steer this in a programming direction:

  • make it a trail/pixel/shape art comp!
  • use the top entries in a special v-day game!
  • encourage participants to code versions of their entries for bonus points!

as long as their art is in a portfolio in the DHT, and as long as you connect the purpose of your comp to code - either through adding the artwork to a project, or encouraging trail//pixel/shape art submissions!
