I ran your "Virus bot" project.
It's slow on my iPad 3. Especially when the circle starts to get around the quarter of the screen size, the project comes to a crawl.
The project gif I posted was just an example.
I've made a second version of the project.
I coded to check the distance all red dots are to the bot and then have the closest dot point at the bot, then set the bots angle to the nearest dots angle minus 180.
This code is very fast.
I wonder if this idea would be too much work to do.
What if the Hopscotch shapes only had collision detect for bumps/touches around the shapes edges. Like an invisible wire frame around a shape.
I notice the bigger the sprites, the more lag there is when it comes to bumps/touches.
When I've made wire frame shapes with full stops and used pen to fill the frame to look like a solid Sprite, ther's way less lag when a Sprite bumps/touches the frame than using a hopscotch shape like a rectangle.
